Junior Performance Triathlon Program


To support the continued growth of Talisman Centre's strategic goal to incubate the sport of Triathlon, Talisman Centre is gearing up to launch ourJunior Performance Triathlon Program (Junior Triathlon Club) starting September 2014. This program will cater to the 14 to 23 year old athletes who are keen to progress and reach their triathlon goals.

To be considered for Talisman Centre Performance Triathlon Club aspiring athletes must demonstrate passion for sport; and coach-ability, determination and intrinsic motivation; and competitive swim, run or triathlon background.

 


TRIATHLETE REQUIREMENTS


  • Application required – available July 21, 2014
  • Previous background in swimming, biking or running
  • Must be 14 – 23 years of age
     

COACH DETAILS


Talisman Centre is proud to announce the addition of Bart Ujack as the Junior Performance Triathlon Coach. As one of two Provincial Junior Coaches and 2013 ATA Elite Coach of the Year, Bart brings 10 years of experience coaching triathlon along with a passion and proven track record of excellence within junior draft legal racing.

 


PROGRAM PRICING


SWIM / BIKE / RUN 
Fully Integrated Program
$3000 per year + tax (10 monthly payments Oct 1st – July 1st)


BIKE / RUN  
Supplementary Program – Great for swimmers looking to test their triathlon skills

$2500 per year + tax (10 monthly payments Oct 1st – July 1st)
 


PROGRAM DETAILS


  • 8 coached sessions per week – periodized training geared towards performance during draft legal racing (June to September)
  • Student-Athlete focused program with sessions set around school schedules
  • Full Talisman Centre access – including the Triathlon Training Studio during non-class times
  • Bike Storage – athletes must sign waiver and provide their own pad lock to secure their bike
