This four-hour course gives you a basic understanding of cardiac function and how defibrillation can restore electrical abnormalities to normal rhythms with hands-on AED machine practice.

Babysitting Camp

Interested in becoming certified babysitters? You will enjoy this unique camp. Discover how to safely care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school age children and learn injury prevention, first aid, CPR, behaviour management, game ideas, nutrition, and the role and responsibility of a babysitter. Participants receive a manual and a certificate upon completion. Recreational swimming is scheduled for a portion of each morning.

We are proud to offer the Canadian Red Cross On Board Accredited Boating Safety program. As of September 1999, every boater operating a motorized pleasure craft in Canada is required to pass an exam in order to get a pleasure craft operators card. For information call 216-7280.
